Worcester would tie the game in the bottom of the fourth. An RBI single by Jack Thorbahn (Northeastern) brought in Tyler Bastunas (Drury). Daniel Bucciero (Fordham) would also score in the inning on a sacrifice fly by Kevin Matos (Wheaton).

The Bravehearts took a 3-2 lead in the fifth when Greg Gorman (Bryant) hit a solo home run. Two more runs would come across for Worcester in the seventh when Bastunas drove in both Antonio Morales (Wake Forest) and AJ Guinden (Wheaton).

Nashua scratched a run across in both the eighth and ninth innings but was unable to tie the game.
