Meet Your Bravehearts All-Star Hitters

Meet your Worcester Bravehearts hitters who will be playing in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game. The game takes place on Tuesday, July 16th at Wahconah Park in Pittsfield. The Home Run Derby will start at 6:20pm and the game will start at 7:15pm.

Meet Tyler Becker

  1. He will be a senior at Adelphi University in the fall
  2. He is in his second season with the Bravehearts, having played eight games for them in 2018
  3. He is an Exercise Science major

Meet Paul Coumoulos

  1. He will be a sophomore at St. Leo University, where he is teammates with fellow Braveheart PJ Barry
  2. His favorite athlete is Bryce Harper
  3. He has one sibling, a sister
  4. He was drafted by the Phillies in the 40th round of the 2017 MLB draft
  5. On July 9, 2019, he powered the Bravehearts to the franchise’s first Home Run Derby tiebreak victory against the Brockton Rox. He hit 15 HR in three minutes, just two short of the league record

Meet Riley Livingston

  1. He will be a senior at Holy Cross in the fall
  2. He has two siblings, one brother and one sister
  3. He is majoring in Political Science
  4. One of his former baseball coaches is Michael Garciaparra, Nomar’s brother
  5. His batting average in high school was .499
  6. He had a career game for the Bravehearts on June 28, 2019 in a 7-4 win against the Westfield Starfires. He went 4-4 with a HR

Meet Ben McNeill

  1. He will be a senior at NYIT in the fall, where he is teammates with fellow Braveheart Joe Pesce
  2. NYIT has played 134 games during his college career, he has started 132 of those, and appeared in all 134
  3. He helped lead NYIT to the school’s first College World Series  appearance in 2019.
  4. He has one brother
  5. He is Majoring in Business Administration, and minoring in finance
  6. He is the Vice President of the Boys Scholar-Athlete Leadership Club

Meet Mariano Ricciardi

  1. He will be a sophomore at Dayton University in the fall, where he will be teammates with fellow FCBL All-Star Bryce Hellgeth
  2. This is his third season with the Bravehearts, having played 36 games in 2017, and 43 games in 2018
  3. He is the Bravehearts all time career leader in games played (113)
  4. His older brother Dante Ricciardi also used to play for the Bravehearts
  5. He is majoring in communications

Meet Jakob Sessa

  1. He will be a junior at St. Petersburg College in the fall
  2. He was teammates this past year with fellow Bravehearts Jeremy Adams, as well as former Braveheart Dustin Harris
  3. In 84 at bats this year, he has only struck out four times, which makes him one of the hardest hitters to strike out in the league
