Panel Discussions Set for Summit

The Worcester Sports Management Summit at Worcester State University on Friday, January 18 will offer attendees the opportunity to participate in three different breakout sessions during the morning. Here is the schedule of panel discussions for the day:

8:30    Registration Begins - WSU Wellness Center, Competition Gymnasium

9:00 - 3:00   Job & Internship Fair Open - WSU Wellness Center, Competition Gymnasium

9:00    Conference Welcome - WSU Wellness Center, Competition Gymnasium

9:20 - 10:10    Breakout Session #1

10:20 - 11:10    Breakout Session #2

11:20 - 12:10    Breakout Session #3

12:20 - 1:00    Lunch served / Job & Internship Fair remains open - Competition Gymnasium

1:00 - 1:50    The Future of Sports Mega Panel - Competition Gymnasium Stage featuring panelists from several breakout sessions

2:00 - 2:45    Keynote Address - Competition Gymnasium Stage featuring Michael Aresco, Commissioner, American Athletic Conference

2:45 - 3:15    Final Networking - Competition Gymnasium Track

3:15 - 4:30    Free Time - Travel to DCU Center 50 Foster St, Worcester - Parking available in Mercantile Center Garage (100 Front St) for $6 or street parking available at meters until 5:00. Downtown eateries include Starbucks, 99 Restaurant, Jimmy Johns Subs, Uno Pizzeria & Grill and Railers Tavern

4:30 - 5:30    DCU Center tour hosted by Worcester Railers (requires a separate ticket - please claim at registration). Please report to Door 4A on Major Taylor Blvd for check-in and your game ticket. You will be allowed re-entry.

7:00     Worcester Railers vs. Newfoundland Hockey Game, additional networking
